REFORMER CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

CHOOSE THE RIGHT CLASS FOR YOU

IF YOU ARE NEW TO REFORMER

Start with a beginner level class like

  • Foundations Reformer
  • Stretch and Restore Reformer

BEFORE PROGRESSING TO A MORE ADVANCED CLASS

You should know how to (and be able to):

  • Change how to adjust your own spring tension
  • Transition in and out hand or foot loops easily without assistance
  • Lay down on the carriage and get up smoothly without assistance
  • Hold a full plank with proper form for at least 45 seconds
  • While seated on the box, be able roll down to a lying position with control and then roll up.

FOUNDATIONS REFORMER

  • A beginner level class
  • An enjoyable, easy pace
  • Flow through foundational exercises

The class flows at a slower pace allowing you to master foundational exercises while incorporating proper form and breathing technique. This class is suitable for all levels.

STRETCH AND RESTORE REFORMER

  • Beginner to advanced level class
  • Reformer-based stretching
  • Excellent for recovery and mobility

The Stretch and Restore Reformer Class is a Reformer-based stretching class. This class would be an excellent addition to your normal exercise routine when your body needs a little break.

Flexibility and mobility will be addressed with stretching exercises on the Reformer that open the hips, the lower back, and shoulders. Come stretch it out and show your muscles some love. This class is suitable for all levels. And, guess what...you'll love it :)

CARDIO JUMPBOARD REFORMER

  • A moderate level class
  • Use of the Jump Board
  • A low impact cardio class

In the Cardio Reformer Class, we attach a Jumpboard to the front end of the Reformer machine, situated near the springs. Jumpboard sessions are aerobic so you get all the benefits of cardio without the high-impact. You will be lying down with your spine and body properly aligned for safety. This low-impact form of cardiovascular training places minimal stress on your joints. We’ll get that heart rate elevated by incorporating bursts of cardio activity into you reformer workout to challenge your strength and level up your fitness. Not suitable for complete beginners or pre and postnatal.

ATHLETIC REFORMER

  • An intermediate class
  • Experienced in Pilates Reformer
  • Moderate to fast paced

The powered-up Athletic Reformer Class moves at a moderate to fast-paced tempo, incorporating swift transitions and introducing you to a repertoire of advanced exercises. Geared towards individuals who have accumulated extensive experience in Reformer classes and have developed a seamless flow in their transitions. This next-level session offers an opportunity to push your boundaries and intensify your workout. Not recommended for beginners or clients rehabbing from injury.

REFORMER BARRE FUSION

  • Not recommended for beginners
  • Not recommended if you're rehabbing from injury
  • A dynamic, challenging class

This class combines the principles of barre and Pilates and fuses them into a total body workout on the reformer. Jump board, glider discs, and other props are used to create a powerful Pilates/barre fusion experience.

Expect a workout that’s both challenging and rewarding, leaving you feeling strong, balanced, and energized!
